Lodge is located on the shore of the Chobe River, eight kilometres from Casana International Airport. A compress consisting of a comfortable shalk is located in the river radius and is surrounded by water and dense African buoys from different sides. During his visit to Botswana in 1998, President Bill Clinton of the United States stopped here. The name " maowana " means, on the local dialect of " Baobab " , the Lodge is bound by the royal Baobabou up above the main two-storey building in the centre of the compound (the legend of the village has been almost 800 years old). The inner premises of the main building are decorated by African statues and cell accessories, the floor is decorated by a bright mosaic, and an elegant staircase is maintained on the second floor. The guests ' rooms are located in the shell on individual terrace on the river bank. Three large conference rooms with state-of-the-art business equipment, barber shops, jewellery and souvenir stores are opened in the lodge.
