Union Hotel Geiranger is a family hotel which, since 1897, has been run by several generations of the Mielwa family. Representatives of European royal families have been among the guests of the hotel since its inception, and today it is sometimes visited by royalty.
For more than 100 years, Gheiranger, where the hotel is located, as the magnet attracts guests: the mountain road opened in 1889, the Fjord and Union Hotel Geiranger have made a major contribution to tourism development in these places. The hotel has a large area, and it keeps a private environment. There's a lounge in the hotel, where they're built, they're guided to celebrate English guests who like to meet together in a big room and, in no time, to drink tea.
The basement of the hotel serves as a garage for eight open-veteran vehicles. There's a parade in the hotel periodically. The hotel is proud of its kitchen and is constantly working on its improvement, for which it is able to be a member of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs. The hotel has gardens with a rich flora. There is also a garden on the roof of a conference suite that includes an open dance site, a barbecue site and a pool opening.
The hotel is located in Gayranger. At the request of the guests, a shipment from the Gheiranger and Alessund Airport, Wiger is arranged.

The restaurant Geirangerfjorden opens a view of the fjord. Visitors may also choose seats in both open and closed terrace. Traditional Norwegian ingredients are used to produce dishes from around the world. All the dishes are made home.
Restaran Union Buffet specializes in the preparation of local dishes. Here, we can have breakfast, lunch and just a bite, and the system works at la carte.
In a thematic bar on the transportation system leading to the hotel and Gheiranger, it is possible to have excellent time with friends, sing karaoke or use free Internet access.
Mollalda reception suite serves a menu consisting of traditional village dishes. As guests wish, you can order local musicians or stories.
