The hotel is located at the border of the Tsavo National Natural Park, 260 kilometres south-east of Nairobi. Tsaw is one of Kenya ' s largest parks, landscape diversity is the top of other natural reserves. The hotel is surrounded by the Chyulu Hills, plains, red volcanic rocks, and it looks like a boat of the dried Chaimu volcano. But the main feature of Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge is that from its territory there is a view of the great shine of Kilimanjaro in neighbouring Tanzania.

Comfortable boots built from volcanic stone and covered with acute roofs from palm leaves are organically incorporated into the surrounding landscape. The viewing area of the hotel can be observed by wild animals on the waterway to nearby water.
