Sevenoaks School is one of the oldest and most prestigious schools in England, founded in 1432. The school-based summer program is a unique opportunity for ambitious children and teenagers to experience the spirit of a renowned, historic institution with centuries-old academic traditions. Participants live and study on the existing campus, immersing themselves in the atmosphere of a British boarding school, combining intensive learning, a cultural environment, and an active social life.
The program is aimed at international students and combines academic development, creative self-expression, and leadership development. Instruction takes place in modern classrooms while preserving the spirit of the historic campus, with its 15th-century architecture, green lawns, and well-developed infrastructure.
Three Main Programs
English
The intensive English course focuses on developing speaking, academic writing, reading, and listening skills. Particular attention is paid to expanding vocabulary, confidence in public speaking, and communication in an international environment.
Music
The program includes performance and stage practice, music history and analysis, and the fundamentals of composition. Participants work on individual and group projects, developing their musical ear, creativity, and presentation skills.
Academic Course
The course focuses on developing critical thinking, social leadership, creative problem-solving, and digital skills. Participants learn to analyze information, work in teams, present projects, and develop the skills necessary for future study in an international academic environment.
Participants are housed in the school's residences under 24-hour staff supervision. Accommodations include full board, common areas, study spaces, and mentor support.
The school is located in Sevenoaks, Kent, approximately 30–40 minutes from London. The campus comprises academic buildings, residences, sports facilities, and green spaces, creating a safe and self-contained environment for living and learning.
