The ALPAMAREe water park is picturesquely set amid the mountainous landscape of the Bavarian Alps. Here, the whole family can relax and enjoy the activities: thermal pools, hydromassage, jacuzzis, a pool with underwater music, as well as a sauna, steam room, Turkish bath, solarium, and other wellness treatments.
The water slides and attractions are especially popular with both children and adults. The complex boasts five incredibly long water slides with a variety of light and sound effects:
Thriller (over 20,000 fiberglass lamps of varying diameters create unique moving images on the dark walls of a 160-meter black tube. Light strips totaling 25 km, flashes, explosions, and other light and sound effects make Thriller truly unique and unparalleled in Europe);
Alpine Canyons (not only the wettest water slides in the world, but also the most unpredictable and exciting. Reaching speeds of up to 50 km/h and plummeting downhill in some sections with an inclination of up to 92%, you realize that the only thing faster and more beautiful is flying);
The Cobra Tunnel (you'll hurtle down a 110-meter track with a 30% incline on special plastic mats, upside down through enclosed tubes at a breakneck pace, immersed in a dazzling light show);
The Alpine Bobsleigh (the largest track of its kind in Germany, with rapids, whirlpools, and water carousels spanning 330 meters); the Alpine Slide (at a 60% incline, you'll hurtle down a chute surrounded by waves and spray).
The complex also features a wave pool with artificial waves up to 1 meter high and a beach, as well as a special pool for surfing.
After a whirlwind of excitement and a whirlwind of emotions, the best place to relax and unwind is the wellness complex located within the Alpamare complex.
Seawater salt baths, an indoor thermal pool, and an outdoor pool with bubbling water are always open for you.
A plunge into the warm waters (34-36°C), you'll forget the hustle and bustle of life, and after a visit to the sauna or steam room, you'll feel reborn.
The thermal baths (thermae) have been renowned for the invigorating power of their waters since 1860.
Health treatments are based on the use of iodine in therapeutic mud, and include massage, inhalation, and other therapies. The numerous minerals contained in the iodized water guarantee guests of Alpamara unique freshness and vitality, while natural mineral components and trace elements restore the body's lost balance. They regulate blood pressure and discreetly and without discomfort remove toxins.
Discounts are available for children, and promotions are constantly running. Children who have recently celebrated a birthday or are planning to celebrate one (two weeks before/within two weeks of the calendar date) can enter the park free of charge upon presentation of identification and when accompanied by three adults. If a child is accompanied by five adults, they (the adults) are admitted with a group ticket.
The Jodquellenhof**** Hotel, located in the middle of its own park, is adjacent to the complex. Hotel guests have free access to the water park. You can access it in your robes and slippers via the walkway.
