Program
Day 1: Bishkek
Meeting at Manas International Airport and transfer to the hotel (30 minutes drive from the airport).
Sightseeing tour of Bishkek: Victory Square, Oak Park, central Ala-Too Square, Museum of Fine Arts, National Philharmonic and many other attractions, visit to the Asian bazaar.
Traditional dinner in the evening.
Relax at the hotel in Bishkek of your choice.
Day 2: Bishkek - Chon Kemin
Trip to the Chon Kemin gorge. On the way, visit one of the most popular attractions - the Burana Tower (11th century) and an open-air museum consisting of balbals (stone warriors).
Then - transfer to Chon Kemin. Here you will meet a friendly Kyrgyz family who will prepare a traditional lunch.
After lunch - a 3-hour horseback ride. Your route will lie high in the mountains, you can ride a horse even through the mountain forest. At the top, you can admire the panoramic view of the gorge.
Dinner and overnight at the ethno-guest house in Chon Kemin.
Day 3: Chon Kemin - Issyk Kul (northern coast)
A trip to the magnificent Lake Issyk-Kul, the second largest high-mountain lake in the world (1608 m above sea level, 180x60 km). This lake is called the "Pearl of Central Asia". For more than 1.5 thousand years, the local people considered this lake sacred. Due to the salinity of the water, Lake Issyk-Kul has healing properties.
In Cholpon-Ata, you will visit a monument of rock paintings - petroglyphs. Then a visit to the cultural center "Rukh Ordo" named after Ch. Aitmatov, which combines the history and spiritual heritage of various cultures and peoples of the world.
Visit to the local ethnographic museum.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Issyk Kul.
Day 4: Issyk Kul – Grigoryevskoye – Semenovskoye – Karakol
Transfer to Karakol along the northern shore of Lake Issyk Kul. On the way you will see the most beautiful gorges, which join at the end – Semenovskoye and Grigoryevskoye. This territory is part of the national park.
In Karakol – visit to the Dungan mosque. One of its features is the fact that it was built in the Chinese style and without a single nail.
Then – visit to the ancient wooden Russian Orthodox church.
Overnight at the hotel in Karakol.
Day 5: Karakol – Bishkek
Trip to the Jeti Oguz gorge. It is famous for its red stone formations, which are called Seven Bulls (Jeti Oguz). You will also see a mountain in the shape of a broken heart. Optional – climb up the mountain (20 minutes) to see a panoramic view of the gorge.
Next stop in the village of Bokonbaevo, meet a local hunter. He hunts hares and foxes with the help of eagles. This is an ancient type of hunting, passed down from generation to generation.
Continue to Bishkek. Overnight at a hotel in Bishkek of your choice.
Day 6: Bishkek – Ala Archa – Bishkek
Trip to the Ala Archa gorge. This is a natural park. Ala Archa is located on the spurs of the Tien Shan. It is only 45 km from Bishkek. You can take a short walk and see a panoramic view of the gorge. At the end of the walk, return to Bishkek.
Free time in Bishkek.
Traditional dinner. Overnight at a hotel in Bishkek.
Day 7: Bishkek – Airport
Transfer to the airport.
