The hotel is located in the Darkensberg National Park (Drakensberg) in Kavzulu-Natal, 250 kilometres from Durban, 400 kilometres from Johannesburg. The " Midlands Stone " is the house in which the Hartford House Hotel was located, the private Thoroughbred farm of the last Prime Minister of Natal Province (Natal). It's one of the country's most beautiful hotels, many times the highest awards and bonuses for comfort, restaurant and magnificent gardens. He is also known for his tours in the outskirts and trout, golf, interior and service. The main restaurant in the Hartford Hotel was evaluated by Wine Magazine as the best place to meet in KwaZulu-Natal in 2000 and 2001. Style Magazine, in July 2000, named Hartford Restaurant as one of the top 10 restaurants, the breakfast at home. Restoran was named one of four restaurants called the South African Food Square. He also received a few prestigious awards for a large and exquisite choice of wine. There's a plate of European and African kitchens.
