Beau Rivage Palace
Hotel description
The elegant facade of the Hotel Beau-Rivage Palace is elevated to a large park on a cozy waterway near the central part of Lausanne, 35 minutes driving from Geneva International Airport, 2 hours from Zurich International Airport. The hotel is marked by many prestigious awards: in 2006, GaultMillau was recognized as the " best Swiss hotel " in the survey of the financial journal Bilanz and the prestigious edition of TravelLeisure. However, many awards, however loud they may be, do not give full uniqueness and thought-out to this hotel. In 1861, the French architects Achille de la Arp and Jean-Batist Bartoloni tried to create a miniature masterpiece that would defeat its luxury and defiance of style.
In 1908, a successful hotel from all corners of Europe acquired another magnificent building, a great palace that complemented the enchantment of the unclassical Beau-Rivage glory of neo-barocco, decorated by the bright features of Ar Decaux. Both buildings, combined with a small roll-out in the Rotunda classical style, are combined with a common concept that highlights the depth of the inner rooms, the richness of the number interers, and the thought-out of the craftsmanship. This is particularly evident in our time, following extensive restoration work carried out by the hotel with the Swiss Department of Monuments. Inspiring rooms decorated by the 18th century, bronze chandeliers and lighters on walls and beautiful vitacles, are harmoniously combined with elegant design of numbers, simulating the styles of the various eras of French designer art: Ampir, the era of Directory and Ar Decaux.
A great decor, a beautiful location and a high-quality service allowed the hotel to win a reputation around the world. Somerset Moham and Albert Cohen, Victor Gyugo and Nelson Mandela, Phil Collins and Charlie Chaplin, Coco Chanel and Gary Cooper took part in these walls at different times. And Lord Kerzon, Raymond Puancar and Benito Mussolini in 1912 participated in the signing of the Lausanne Treaty, which concluded the Italian-Turkish Treaty.War. However, the future of the hotel appears to be in even more joyous ways. The symbiosis of the richest traditions and modern technologies complements 3 restaurants and 2 bars, open (20 m) and sheeted (15 m) pools, the gym, 2 tennis veins, and the CINQ MONDES Spa-centre, offering the throttle pool, open pool, gym rooms, 6 procedure rooms,
