History of the hotel building Carlo IV Total Prague Beginning in the first half of the 19th century, when the Austrian architect Wölf proposed his project in a non-classical style, which at that time was very popular in Europe. The Czech Bank was initially housed in a majesty building with sculptures and built-in elements, and in the communist era the building served as the post office. After long years of neglect, designers and architects have taken to rebuild the house, and now the Carlo IV Hotel consists of two parts, modern and historical. The elements of a modern architecture from glass and steel were added, but in general, the building preserved the old era. A simple lobby has been performed with the predominant predominance of the beige, gray and white tones, and has been decorated by columns, Latin chandeliers, frescas and blind.
