Banyan Tree for environmental well-being

During the week of 5 to 11 June, the Banyan Tree and Angsana resorts will carry out several environmental events in conjunction with the International Environment Day. This year ' s theme is " The integration of people and nature in cities and States from pole to equator " . A network of almost the world has supported this initiative every year.

All hotel staff and, most importantly, the guests and the local community are involved. For them, the resorts are organized by special workshops, educational seminars and thematic quests, which describe the protection of the environment and the steps that can be taken in the context of threatening urbanization and global warming.

Among the most active participants are the atoll resorts, Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru and Angsana Ihuru, they'll clean up the coral reefs from destroying their marine stars.
