IBA changes the rules for baggage
C 15 January 2019 Airlines MAU (International Aviation of Ukraine) for passengers has introduced changes to the basic rules for the importation of manual pavements. For the first time, this decision was made by Hungarian and Irish airlines (Ryanair and Wizzair), which led to many public debates on the feasibility of such innovation.
In the past, every passenger could have taken one bag of 55x40x20 and weighed not more than 7 kilograms. Additional baggage of up to 5 kilograms was also allowed, which could include: a small female bag, laptop, umbrella, camera, crutches or cane, one set of top clothing and a magazine or newspaper.
According to the new regulations, passengers have the right to take one bag weighing up to 7 kilograms, in which all necessary items for the passage are to be packed. For additional baggage (up to 5 kilograms), a separate fee will be taken at the airport. Such innovations should help in the uniform distribution of bags on baggage shelves to avoid overcrowding.
