The Indian Pacific, Australia

The Ghan, Australia's most famous train, connects Adelaide and Darwin, showcasing the changing landscapes of the continent's interior. But there are also other scenic routes. One such is The Indian Pacific from Perth to Sydney via Adelaide. On this five-day, all-inclusive journey, you'll see the country from the coast of the Indian to the Pacific Oceans: watch the sunrise over Kalgoorlie and visit one of Australia's largest gold mines, spend the night by a campfire on the Nullarbor Plain, explore the vineyards of the Barossa Valley, and descend into the historic cellars of Seppeltsfield Estate (1851) to enjoy vintage wines. You'll explore the outback, including the historic town of Broken Hill, a National Heritage site in Australia, where you'll visit a locomotive museum and see sandstone sculptures in the desert at Living Desert State Park. Broken Hill is known as the "mineral jungle" due to its 300 different mineral deposits. In the UNESCO-protected Blue Mountains, you'll take the Scenic Skyway cable car over the mountain range and jungle, seeing the Three Sisters peaks, Jamison Valley, and Katoomba Falls. Then, ride the steepest cable car in the world and sample premium wines and beers at Echo Point.

Dream of the Desert, Saudi Arabia

The Dream of the Desert train, the first five-star train in the Middle East, will launch in Q3 2026. Its interiors were designed by Aline Azman d'Amman, whose portfolio includes the Hôtel de Crillon in Paris, the new look of the Le Jules Verne restaurant (2 Michelin stars) at the Eiffel Tower, and the Orient Express Palazzo Donà Giovanelli hotel, which will open later this year in Venice. The designer masterfully weaves the country's cultural heritage into the interiors, whose palette and textures evoke Bedouin traditions, desert landscapes, and the architecture of Hegra, Hail, and Al-Ula. The project was created as part of the Saudi Vision 2030 program with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the Saudi Arabian Tourism Authority. On a journey that begins in Riyadh, guests will discover the country's natural beauty and cultural heritage. There are only 34 suites, and reservations will be available very soon through our managers.

The Vietage by Anantara, Vietnam

On a trip to Central Vietnam on The Vietage by Anantara, you'll see buildings from the Champa Kingdom, the earliest of which date back to the 7th century, and the Great Wall of Vietnam. Stroll the streets of ancient Hoi An, whose architecture blends local, Japanese, Chinese, and French influences. Relax on the golden beaches of Quy Nhon and enjoy a cocktail of pleasures in Nha Trang, with miles of palm-fringed beaches, fresh catches at seaside restaurants, opulent temples, and a vibrant nightlife.

Twelve passengers are served haute cuisine (national, French, and other international dishes), Vietnamese craft gin, and exquisite champagne. Heinz Beck has developed a separate regional menu for each route.

The Britannic Explorer a Belmond Train, UK

Several routes have been developed for the new Britannic Explorer, including the cozy "Lake District and Wales" route, as cozy as a traditional English tea party. You'll admire the idyllic countryside and historic architecture of Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, and South Yorkshire, as well as the villages of the Cotswolds. Visit the Victorian estate of Lingholm, canoe and paddleboard on a lake, observe alpacas, and enjoy hikes in the vast English countryside, where flower meadows, forests, and coastline create a mosaic of landscapes. Sunrise over the sea in Pembrokeshire, swimming in lakes, strolls through lavender fields, a 150-year-old viaduct, the majesty of the mountains in Snowdonia, an evening by the fire—England is enchanting in every way.

Award-winning British chef Simon Rogan, whose three-Michelin-starred restaurant, L'Enclume, will be in charge of catering along the way. He offers seasonal regional dishes, revealing the many facets of British cuisine, and traditional English pastries to Britannic Explorer guests. You'll also enjoy a tour of his farm in the Cartmel Valley and champagne at The Cadogan. The train features 18 suites, a spa suite, and an Observation Car where you can dance until the early hours.

We remind you that you can also embark on a journey through the Scottish Highlands on the Royal Scotsman by Belmond: play golf in the birthplace of the sport, appreciate the rugged and lush beauty of nature, and gaze at the stars in one of Europe's most ideal locations.
