Removal of visas to Brazil
On 4 November, an agreement between the Governments of Ukraine and Brazil on the introduction of a visa-free regime is entering into force.
This is the 18 octars, and at a briefing in Kiev, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Alexander Dikusarov, briefed the press secretary.
On 4 November, the intergovernmental agreement between Ukraine and the Federative Republic of Brazil on the waiver of visas, which was signed on 2 December 2009 in Kiev, entered into force, he said.
The Agreement provides for a visa-free entry procedure for citizens of Ukraine and Brazil for the purpose of tourism and business for a period not exceeding 90 days from the date of the first entry. The travel documents valid for travel to Brazil under the agreement are the passport of a Ukrainian citizen to travel abroad and the travel document of the child.
According to the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the implementation of the provisions of the agreement would contribute to the realization of the rights of citizens of Ukraine to freedom of movement and to the development of political dialogue between Brazil and Ukraine.
