Holidays in La Vilette Park
Parc de la Villette
Opened to the public in 1985 with the support of François Mitterrand, Parc de la Villette is a world of diverse and surprising projects and the largest park in the French capital. Here, the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie stands next to a musical instrument museum, the astonishing spherical Geode cinema with its 180-degree circular screen creating an immersive experience, and the Zenith concert hall, where famous rock stars perform to sold-out crowds.
The wizards who created this marvelous park certainly didn't forget children, preparing a host of surprises for them. Little travelers can transform into astronauts in the Ariane pavilion, pilot a Mirage fighter jet, feel like Captain Nemo by boarding a real submarine, or visit a mini-TV studio and try on the role of a news anchor.
This diverse ensemble of buildings is surrounded by green lawns, shady alleys, playgrounds, and attractions.
Located in Parc de la Villette, the Science and Technology Village occupies a vast area. It's a unique museum where there are no "do not touch" signs; instead, you can touch and try everything that interests you, and feel like a true explorer. Explore the achievements of modern technology and reflect on the eternally fascinating mysteries of the ocean and space,
attempt to understand the laws of mechanics and marvel at the achievements of the human mind.
The park includes the Argonaut submarine, the Planetarium, the Geode cinema, themed gardens (bamboo, mirror, etc.), the Synax amusement park, the "Tarmak" tent, a tent, children's carousels, and a theater.
