Holidays in Alberobello
Alberobello is a town located 60 km south of the country from Bari. It is not only the hallmark of the region, but also the first association for everyone who hears the name Apulia. The entire city is under the protection of UNESCO. And all because it consists of fabulous trulli houses (round stone structures with cone-shaped roofs). It is interesting that the domes of trulli houses can be both female and male. The male domes are distinguished by the so-called tops (pinaccolo). When the trulli were just being built, you could tell by the dome which master built the house. Each symbol depicted on the stone roof has its own meaning and acts as a talisman. In total, there are about 20,000 trulli in the region.

The first "miracle house" was built in 1635, and almost 300 years later a law was passed prohibiting their construction. That is why Alberobello is now under the protection of UNESCO. The first impression when you get here is as if you find yourself in some kind of fabulous, unusual city of gnomes. 30 km from Alberobello is the town of Motolla.
