Poirot is relatively known because of savannah elephants that can be found in the river behind the village. It's one of the two types of African elephants that were very damaged by poachers in the '70s, although the number of animals has recently increased. Caocolend's elephants may look like other African creatures, but they're acting differently and very interesting for zoos. There are also savas near Poros.

It is, because most of the year of the Tasha Valley is a depressed, stunned white clay, and only occasionally there are fictional mirages: the herds of wild animals are filled with inexorable natural stains.
