Dolomiti Superski - a unique emotion!
The Dolomiti Superski arena is the largest and certainly the most impressive skiing area in the world, of which Val Gardena, Alta Badia and Cortina D'Ampezzo are the most famous resorts.
There are 1,200 km of perfectly groomed slopes at your disposal, extending between 1,200 m and 3,342 m in altitude, right up to the wonderful Marmolada Glacier. In just Val Gardena alone there are 500 kilometres of slopes.
Skitouring
You will experience the emotion of leaving on the fresh snow, by a bright sunny morning, the first ski tracks along the ridge of the mountain.
Our trips will bring you accross pure and unscathed landscape tempting you to face new skiing adventures. Private excursions ore excursions in small groups can be booked.
Cross-country skiing
Val Gardena is part of the largest cross-country skiing ring in Europe, the Dolomiti Nordic Ski with around 1,000 km of cross-country tracks. All the tracks can be used with the same ski pass.
Val Gardena offers more than 98 kilometres of well-tended cross-country tracks of all levels of difficulty. The cross-country track called Vallunga in Selva Alta Val Gardena is particularly beautiful. It is in a quiet area, immersed in fabulous winter scenery, where you can frequently see a marmot or a chamois among the trees.
You will find 30 km of fun in the midst of woods and meadows covered in a soft layer of snow at Monte Pana, connected with a 7.5 km track to Alpe di Siusi. Furthermore, there is a Nordic Active Park in Vallunga in Selva. The park offers three routes of different levels of difficulty through the Puez-Odle Nature Park.
Sledging
A lovely descent by sledge is what you need to bring joy and high spirits during a winter stay at the Alpenroyal
A toboggan run offers guaranteed fun for the whole family. At Alpe di Siusi there are numerous toboggan runs and in Ortisei a well prepared route leads you from the mountain station of Rasciesa to the valley.
A particular experience is night-tobogganing at Alpe di Siusi, with transfer and dinner in a comfortable alpine hut. Enjoy a funny slide part on the snow and live an unforgettable holiday experience!
Snowshoe hikes
For those who are not keen on skiing, but enjoy romantic, wild nature surrounded by legends, there are the high-alpine pastures, paths through woods and beaten tracks which lead to mountain refuges.
We suggest you grab your snow poles and go in search of the mystical Vallunga or follow some beaten track. The "Via Crucis" under the walls of the Stevia, the path which leads to the ruins of Castel Wolkenstein, the “La Ferata" railway track, the walk through the wood which leads to Mount Pana are just some of the possibilities which you will have to hike in Selva Alta Val Gardena and its surroundings. While you cross the meadows sprinkled with pine trees just above the Firenze Hut in the direction of the Odle range, snow pole trekkers will be able to enjoy moments of deep silence.
