THEME PARKS: NEW FEATURES TO ENHANCE YOUR FAMILY VACATION

17.04.2026

JUNGLIA OKINAWA, Okinawa
A new theme park on Okinawa's main island invites you into the world of dinosaurs. These lifelike prehistoric dinosaurs inhabit 60 hectares of forests, both mature and young. To create a jungle atmosphere, over 37,500 trees were planted. A tourist tram runs through the park. And during the 4x4 safari, huge dinosaurs stalk guests, leaving the thrill of the chase breathtaking! Families with children can also go on a hike in search of baby dinosaurs.

You can admire the park from an observation deck or ascend 200 meters in a hot air balloon. Raise a glass of champagne as you soar, admiring the panoramas stretching to the horizon. The extreme entertainment zone features a free-fall tower, zipline, giant high-speed swings, a "catapult," an 84-meter suspension bridge, a rope course, and buggies. Fireworks shows and festivals are held in the evenings. The park's restaurants serve Okinawan produce, and some tables are nested in treetop "nests." There's also a spa with the world's largest infinity pool, grotto pools, a jacuzzi, a sauna, and thermal baths.

Why visit Okinawa
The subtropical islands of Okinawa are renowned for their long white-sand beaches, coral reefs, underwater caves, and the vibrant azure of the Pacific Ocean. Diving is excellent, with vibrant fish, sea turtles, and manta rays. From May to October, you can swim with whale sharks, and from January to March, you can watch humpback whales. This is a wonderful place for yachting and, of course, beach holidays. It's home to one of the most beautiful islands in the world, Miyako, with uninterrupted stretches of sand stretching for kilometers. Pedestrian bridges lead from it to the neighboring islands of the same name.

Okinawa is a great place to relax year-round. The beach season runs from late March to October. Even in winter, the water warms up to 21 degrees Celsius. Okinawa is also the first place in Japan to see cherry blossoms bloom. You can admire them from mid-January, for example, against the backdrop of Nakijin Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the monuments of the Ryukyu Kingdom.

POKÉPARK KANTO, Tokyo
PokéPark KANTO is the world's first Pokémon-themed space. In the magical forest of the Tama Hills, children can tame 600 cheerful, fantastical creatures, watch them run and play, and ride carousels and a steam train. The Pokémon Forest is located in Yomiuriland Amusement Park, Tokyo's largest amusement park. In the summer, you can swim, dive in the pools, and ride water slides (the adult pools are also open at night, with relaxing music and soft lighting for relaxation). In the fall, admire the crimson maples, in the winter, the fairytale illuminations, and in the spring, the cherry blossoms. The park's play areas are dedicated to Japanese industry: automobiles, food, space, innovative stationery, and the fashion industry—you can both explore and learn useful skills. The park also boasts over 40 attractions, from roller coasters and giant swings to a Ferris wheel and free-fall towers.

GRAND TOUR ITALIA, Bologna
The Grand Tour Italia is located on the site of the FICO Eataly World Bologna and, like its predecessor, was designed by Oscar Farinetti. While FICO only introduced visitors to Italy's culinary traditions, the new park will immerse you in the history, culture, architecture, and customs of each of the country's 20 regions, and you'll discover what influenced the development of their culinary and winemaking traditions. Within this 50,000-square-meter park (the equivalent of five football fields), you won't find roller coasters or other classic rides. Instead, you'll learn the art of making Neapolitan pizza and pasta, sample regional dishes in taverns, and enjoy wine. Porticoes at the entrance to each area evoke the UNESCO-protected medieval porticoes of Bologna, which has more porticoes than any other city in the world.

The park is named after the Grand Tour from Goethe's "Italian Journey," and it's hard to imagine a more fitting association. The park's location is also ideal, as Emilia-Romagna is the country's culinary capital, home to Parma ham and Parmesan cheese, lasagna and Lambrusco, and many other world-famous foods and drinks.

What else is Emilia-Romagna worth seeing?
When visiting Emilia-Romagna, visit the Basilica of San Domenico in Bologna to see the works of the young Michelangelo; the Pinacoteca Nazionale, where you'll discover the works of Raphael, Giotto, and Titian; the Historical Museum in Palazzo Pepoli, built in 1344; and the Palazzo Vassa, home to the Galleria Cavour shopping center. Stay at The Grand Hotel Majestic già Baglioni (The Leading Hotels of the World) – the city's oldest and most prestigious hotel.

Emilia-Romagna is home to Italy's automotive and motorcycle industries, with four renowned racetracks, dozens of automobile museums, and private collections. For a family vacation, just a stone's throw from Ravenna and the Adriatic Sea, Mirabilandia is the country's largest amusement park with six themed zones and over 40 attractions, including Europe's longest inverted roller coaster, the world's tallest water roller coaster, and Europe's second-tallest Ferris wheel. Meanwhile, "Italy in Miniature" (Rimini) features miniature replicas of key landmarks from across the country: from the Colosseum and the Duomo to the trulli of Apulia and the nuraghe of Sardinia.

BON LUXURY THEME PARK, Nuevo Nayarit
The luxury theme park BON (The Beauty of Nature) will open this fall on Mexico's Pacific coast, aiming to rival the renowned amusement parks in Dubai and Orlando. BON is part of the new VidantaWorld Nuevo Vallarta resort complex. Guests will enjoy a variety of attractions, including water and land-based ones, spectacular laser shows, singing fountains, and nightly parades of giant figures. A theater with a water stage will host the Cirque du Soleil show LÚDŌ, an aquarium, a zip line, and 25 world-class restaurants. World-class stars will perform on the complex's stage, and Lionel Richie performed at its opening. In its first year, the park will be open exclusively to guests of the BON Hotel within the complex; from the second year, it will be open to everyone.

The golf club within the complex hosts the Mexican Open, a PGA Tour event. Nuevo Nayarit is part of the elite resort area of Riviera Nayarit, renowned for its golf courses, marinas, nightclubs, and abundant wildlife: from humpback whales to sea turtles, jaguars, and numerous birds. If you prefer the Riviera Maya, consider the VidantaWorld – JUNGALA hotel, home to Cirque du Soleil's JOYÀ show, dedicated to Mexico's cultural heritage.
