Holidays in Felicite Island

The small island attracts visitors from afar – the granite cliffs along the coast and the hills covered with dense forests are so picturesque. The Felicite cliffs, like the palm groves of Praslin, are the hallmark of the Seychelles.
Felicite is one of the most beautiful islands of the archipelago. It has cozy bays with a labyrinth of stone caves, and forests where bananas, oranges and mangoes grow next to palm trees and baobabs: you just need to stretch out your hand, and an exquisite dessert is ready! Due to the fact that the coast is quite rocky and steep in many places, you can’t swim everywhere, but several small beaches with fine white sand are an ideal place for a secluded holiday alone with nature. Some beaches can only be reached by swimming, others – by traveling through low mountains.
The largest beach on Felicite is La Penice. A rocky mountain range about a kilometer long crosses the island from northwest to southeast. Its highest point is 213 meters above sea level. You can climb up here along a narrow forest path and admire the neighboring Praslin and La Digue.
For a long time, the island remained completely deserted. Even now, the only inhabitants are guests of the Felicite Private Lodge hotel - a small complex of neat houses under roofs made of palm leaves. It is on Felicite that you can realize your dream of your own island - at least for a few days. The concept of rest in the hotel is unique: when reserving at least one room out of eight available, other orders are not accepted. Whether it is a large company or a romantic couple - the island is in their complete possession!
Felicite is considered one of the best places for diving and snorkeling. And not far away, just 3 km away, begins the National Marine Park, striking in the abundance and diversity of fish and marine animals.
The best souvenir from the Seychelles is a sea coconut of a unique shape. Souvenirs made from its polished peel are also popular.
