Holidays in Tobago
The beachers are the best to go to Tobago - there's noise and crazy big towns that can't really take a break.
Tobago, like his southern neighbour, is also open to Columbus and captured by the Spanish. However, unlike most other islands in the Caribbean, there has never been serious attempts to colonize. In 1888, Tobago joined Trinidad, received its own independent legislature in 1889 and became a self-governing territory in the Federation of British West Indies. At the beginning of the 1960s, Trinidad and Tobago is seeking internal self-government, and in 1962 both islands are fully independent.
The island between Trinidad and the open ocean of Tobago is only 41 to 14 kilometres. For a long time, virtually unknown tourists have recently developed at an amazing speed, showing almost twofold increases in the number of guests each year. And it is not surprising - the luxury underwater world, the untouched nature, the desert coasts and the flourishing tropical forests - these are the main “coss” of this island.
