Holidays in Trinidad
The island of Trinidad was opened in 1498 by Columbus, who encroached it to La Isla de la Trinidad in honour of the Holy Trinity, but the first European settlement on the island was only in 1592. In the next two centuries, the colonizers have made two failed attempts to develop the island, but their tobacco and cocoa were categorically reluctant to grow locally. As a result, the Spanish people had almost abandoned every attempt to develop the colony, and in 1797 the island went under the jurisdiction of the British Crown.
Most of the population of the State of Trinidad and Tobago is concentrated on the island of Trinidad, where the capital of the State is located, and many restaurants, bars and hotels are concentrated.
