Holidays in Mikaumi National Park
Mikumi Park is an important part of the Celus ecosystem. This is one of Tanzania ' s most famous and largest national parks extending almost to the coast of Indian Ocean. The park was founded in 1964 and is still popular because of its painting landscapes, large green spaces moving to higher altitudes. Mikumi is the name of the Borassus valley that grows in this area. The fleet area is 3,230 square kilometres.
Mountain circuits, open grasslands, forest grasslands are richly populated by the main members of Africa ' s wildlife. Here is the ancestral habitat of the lions, wild African dogs, giraffes, elephants, zebras, buffalons, antelope and crocodiles. In the southern part of the national park, it is possible to meet fugitives swimming in the waters of the natural basin. Mikumi ' s orbital space includes more than 300 bird species. Some of them are Euro-Asian migrants coming here from October to April.
In addition to other national parks in Tanzania, Mikumi is the traditional site of various kinds of safari, air tours and wildlife films. It is particularly popular to fly low-altitude balloons to monitor animals in their natural habitats without disturbing their motor noises or attracting their attention. The Mikaumi National Park is the place of family weekends, as there is good transport access, with Dar es Salaam linking it to the road, with an airstrip, with small aircraft. The tourist capabilities of the park are very diverse. There are great hotels here, and small mobile tent camps-camps.
