Holidays in KwaZulu Natal National Parks
In the province of KwaZulu Natal, one of the largest parks in UAR consists of three reserves: Shushluvi, Umfolosi and Corridora total area of 96,000 hectares. The first two were based in 1895 and Coridor in 1989. Park is located in North Zululand, 280 km from Durban. The Park has a very diverse natural landscape, flora and fauna, like anywhere in South Africa. You can see the black and white nose, the giraffe, a lot of antelope, the zebra, the elephant, the elephant, the lion, the leopard, the shackala, the gene and many other, smaller animals.
Until the foundation of the park, this territory was part of the hunting lands of the Zulu kings. Landscapt Schushluvi is represented by dense green trees and mountains, while Umfolosi is open, relatively dry bush (savannah).
St Lucia's Reserve.Santa Lucia ' s lake, not more than 1.5 metres deep and 85 kilometres long, is protected by UNESCO and comprises five different ecosystems. In the lake, more than 1,000 fugitives and several thousand crocodiles live in the natural environment. The lake's coast is a conservative subtropical forest with many wild animals and birds.
