Our advantages

Le Bouleau is a major European resort, famous for its longest beach on the European coast (9 km). It is considered one of the privileged resorts on the Atlantic coast. Situated a three-hour train ride from Paris, Le Bouleau will appeal to those who love vintage cars, mid-20th-century fashion, the sincerity of black-and-white cinema, and appreciate the joy of life.

Le Bouleau doesn't strive to keep up with the times, and so it's here that people seek refuge from its frantic pace and upheavals. This resort maintains the tradition of secular sea bathing: every time you visit, you can't help but expect to see someone with a curled moustache and a striped bathing suit appear on the beach. With its luxurious nine-kilometer beach, the uniqueness of seaside villas surrounded by gardens, the triangles of sails, and the endless ocean promenade, Le Bouleau is unlike any other resort on the French Atlantic: it can, without exaggeration, be called a resort "with a special atmosphere." There are no casual guests here, yet it is equally suitable for young couples with small children, tender spouses of a golden age, and wandering singles. Evening dresses at dinner and long conversations over aperitifs are common here; every episode of the daily routine becomes a unique ritual.

The infrastructure for a wonderful vacation is well-developed: luxury hotels and villas, casinos, gourmet restaurants, 100 tennis courts, numerous sailing schools, golf, karting, and sports clubs. Every year in early May, the official French equestrian competitions are held here.

Thanks to the Gulf Stream, the peninsula has an oceanic climate: mild and humid. Winters are never cold, and summers rarely experience intense heat. Dignity and balance distinguish even the ocean elements – storms are rare, and the ocean slowly ebbs and flows, obeying the eternal lunar schedule. Even on the hottest days, the heat is softened by a gentle salty breeze.

This resort is dedicated to sophisticated romantics and aesthetes. Pleasures abound here. You can simply lie on the sand for a couple of days, lazily wandering from one beach café to the next, without worrying about keeping your children (if you're traveling with them) from overswimming, overheating, or overcooling: Le Bouleau's beaches have been specially designed for children, similar to those found in well-maintained Moscow courtyards—with trampolines to bounce on until you're dizzy, slides to slide down until you're equally ecstatic, sandboxes to play in, and, most importantly, very attentive babysitters. These beaches are also equipped with surfboards and very unique devices, similar to surfboards but on wheels. You stand on the board, catch the wind, and off you go! Or, alternatively, a wind-powered jeep: four wheels, a steering wheel, and the same sail. Le Bouleau's next delight is its thalassotherapy centers. They're so famous that even Michelin mentions them favorably, and that's saying something. Twenty-five types of massage, thirty-five aromatherapy treatments, and one hundred herbal teas you can sip while sitting on the veranda and watching the world go by. Thalgo Le Bouleau also offers special programs for those who want to quit smoking, lose weight, relieve stress, and improve their heart health. It's unclear whether these treatments actually help people lose nicotine and/or pounds, but they certainly provide enjoyment.
