Praslin is the second-largest island in the Seychelles, known for its granite-framed beaches, tropical palm forests and high-end resorts. A stay can combine relaxed days by the ocean with nature walks, snorkelling and boat journeys to neighbouring islands.

Anse Lazio is recognised for its pale sand, granite boulders and clear water. Anse Georgette lies beside Constance Lemuria, and access may be subject to the resort’s arrangements and advance confirmation. Côte d’Or and Anse Volbert suit travellers who prefer a long beach within easy reach of restaurants, shops and excursion departure points.

Curieuse, St Pierre and La Digue
Boat journeys from Praslin can include Curieuse Island, known for its population of giant tortoises, and the small island of St Pierre for snorkelling. Cousin Island Nature Reserve and La Digue can also be added to the itinerary. Routes and departure times should be planned according to weather and sea conditions.
Praslin is reached from Mahé by domestic flight or ferry and connects easily with La Digue by sea. Five to seven nights allow time for the island’s principal beaches, Vallée de Mai and at least one boat excursion. Praslin can also form part of a longer Seychelles itinerary combining Mahé, La Digue and selected smaller islands.
