In the 1920s, Alan Payem Huka Lodge, an Irishman, became an extremely popular fishermen. The reputation of the lodge has been growing and has begun to visit the Queen of Great Britain, Elizabeth Second, Charles Lindberg, James Michener, as well as other famous film stars and political figures. In 1984, the current owner of Alex van Heeren ' s boat carried out a global reconstruction, transforming a fishing house into a beautiful comfort hotel with all the conveniences. Position

The hotel is located in the central part of the North, Lake Taupo, on the Waikato River, 10 minutes from the centre of Taupo. The hotel can be accessed by a helicopter from Auckland in one hour and 15 minutes, from Wellington in one hour and 35 minutes, or from Rotorua in 25 minutes, or by a car: 3-4 hours from Auckland, 4.5 hours from Wellington and 1 hour from Rotorua.

Survival

For the Lodge, 25 comfort numbers of different categories are provided, including 18 Lodge Rooms, one luxury suite Lodge Suite and two Huka Lodge Cotages Exclusives. The Owner’s Cotttage has four bedrooms and can accommodate up to eight guests.

Lodge Rooms " Suite " are light and simplic numbers which consist of the bedroom of the guest room, the working area with the written table, the wardrobe, the big bathroom.

The Owner’s Cotttage is a luxury comfort cotege with an unrepetitive view of the Waikato River and the Huka waterfall, which is stunted to the highers, among the piling beautiful and secular gardens. The cotage envies the paintings of New Zealand ' s famous artists, Max Jimblet, Mervin Taylor, Don Binney, Paul Dibble and Dick Friel, as well as various interesting elements of decor and comfort, such as the luxury oak chairs of the guest in the 1920s style.

The four bedrooms of the beds of Super-king and Caminas are kept in soft, dangerous and caramel tone. Out of two bedrooms, species open to the river, and of the other two to a beautiful garden and an inner palace with a great open fireplace. The floors in all rooms are covered with a high-quality wood park. Alan Pye Cottage is a luxury catage named after an Irishman who built Huka Lodge, located on the Waikato River bank, among the 17-acre beautiful green gardens. Cotege meets the highest standards of comfort and convenience. High-quality materials were used in construction, such as cedbrushion, natural stones, etc. Cotege is attracted by architectural elements of the 20s to the 30s.

Escort Rooms - 6 cozy lodging rooms for children travelling with their parents or accompanying customers (nanny, safety worker, driver...) The rooms consist of a bedroom with a single bed, a wardrobe, a front desk and a bathroom with a shower cab and a toilet. Escort Rooms may be connected to Lodge Rooms 13, 16, 19 and 4.

The Library is a cozy library with a table next to the fireplace, the perfect spot for 2-10 people.

The study with a wonderful view on the river can be collected at an antique table of 2 to 4 people.

Outdoor Fireplace is the main lounge of Main Lodge, with the first fire on the open air in the Lodge, where tables for 2-8 people are scattered during the summer season.

The Tro Roomphy is a trophy room designed for various activities: it can accommodate both a group of 20 people and two guests from the fireplace. Two terraces with a wonderful view of Huka's waterfall provide an opportunity for two to four people to make outdoors.

The Wine Cellar is a wine cellar with a large collection of exquisite wines where 2-10 people can rap. Private romantic salons have two tables.

Terrace is the front terrace with a view to the river, where two couples can have dinner in the summer season at two separate tables.

River Terrace is a terrace with its own open fire near Main Lodge, where 2-4 guests can serve.

The Orchard is a small private garden with fruit trees and two open fireplaces, where two tables for 2-6 guests are scattered.

It is possible to have dinner at the Cotege Owner’s Cotttage, where the personal chef offers its services. The table for 2 to 10 guests may be in the dining room, the terrace or the open fireplace.

Jetty Pavilion is a cozy pavilion on the shore of the Waikato River, where 2-6 guests can serve. The skilled placement of mirrors in the pavilion allows for the full enjoyment of nature.

Green Room is a green room on the open air from three sides of a closed leaf of sequential plants, a beautiful place for dinner 2-6.

It's always possible to serve a table for two under the stars in a beautiful garden.
